The Single Song Co-Publishing Agreement is used when a publishing company and a writer agree to have the publishing company exploit and administrate the publishing to only one of the writer's songs. This can also be used by a publishing company that is affiliated with a record label. In this Agreement the copyright is co-owned between the writer and publisher with the publisher having 100% administration rights. The writer receives 100% of the writer’s share and the writer and publisher share the publisher’s share 50/50 which equates to the publishing company receiving 25% of the income and writer 75%.
