A Booking Agent Agreement (For Club or Promoter) is a contract between a concert promoter and a booking agent for the booking agent to find and contract with artists for a concert or festival. This contract is for a one time event, but can be altered for a period of time, and not just for one show. This contract is also set up to be non-exclusive where the booking agent also represents other clubs or companies. If the venue wants the booking agent to be exclusive, then the terms can be changed from non-exclusive to exclusive. If this contract is to be used as an employment agreement by the club, rather than the agent being an independent contractor, then some changes will need to be made to the contract to reflect any terms required for employment agreement based on the state laws where the employment will take place.
