This Release From Recording Agreement is a contract used when a record company and an artist agree to mutually terminate a recording agreement between the parties and release each other from the obligations under that contract. Basically when a record company and artist agree to no longer work together and the artist needs documentation to demonstrate that it is not longer in a recording agreement. It can also can be used as a release after a breach of contract dispute has risen between the parties and they are agreeing to settle the dispute and release each other from the Recording Agreement.
