This Release From Record Company Agreement is used when a record company and an artist agree to release each other from the obligations in a recording agreement signed by both parties. Basically when a record company and artist agree to no longer work together and the artist needs documentation to demonstrate that it is not longer in a recording agreement. Also can be used as a release after a breach of contract dispute has risen between the parties and they are agreeing to settle the dispute and release each other from the Recording Agreement.
