This Film Score Music Composer is used by a film, or television producer to contract with a music composer to create music for a film score and soundtrack for a film or television production whereby the music is synchronized to the action on the screen. This agreement is obtained from the composer and provides for the film producer will own all the rights to the score as a work made for hire. However, the contract does provide for the songwriter to collect the writer's performance royalties for any performance of the music.
