This Co Publishing Contract is used by a record company to sing a recording artist to its publishing company affiliate. The agreement runs concurrently with the recording agreement and sets out a co-publishing agreement with a writer/artist that acquires the copyrights to songs by a writer/artist setting forth the terms of the publisher's rights to exploit the acquired songs and splitting the income derived from the "publishers" income 50/50 and providing for the writer/artist to retain 100% of the income derived from the "writer's income".
