This Producer Of Tracks Agreement is used by most producers of music recordings in the hip-hop, rap and pop markets. The producer creates the music and a recorded track for the singer/ rapper/ vocalist to sing or rap over and may produce the recording of the singer/rapper/vocalist over the music the producer created. This agreement sets forth terms whereby the employer (record company or artist hiring producer) will own the recording as a work made for hire. The producer is paid a fee for the producer's services. The other main terms are as follows:

1. The producer will receive a royalty from the sale of records;

2. The producer will retain the copyright to the music, and;

3.The Producer will receive a mechanical royalty from the sale of records as the writer of the music.
